Who We Are
We are Janneke and Ravi, the creative minds behind Facemagic.
Janneke designs learning experiences that stay with you. With empathy as her guide and a gift for structure, she turns concepts into moments that teach, move, and inspire.
Ravi is a filmmaker in the fullest sense — writing, shooting, editing, and shaping stories with care and craft. His eye is cinematic, his touch deeply human.
Together, we tell stories that matter.

What We Do
Facemagic is an independent creative studio dedicated to meaningful storytelling through film, design, and education.
We work across genres and formats — from poetic short films and animated stories to youth-driven media labs and educational film projects.
Our projects often emerge from lived experience. We collaborate closely with young people, newcomers, and underrepresented voices to craft stories that are personal, powerful, and universally human.
Why Facemagic
For us, creation is more than craft — it’s connection.
“Facemagic” is about the spark that happens when you see yourself in a story, when faces and voices usually unseen take center stage. It’s about restoring dignity through image and imagination.
